Moda Candy

Medium or large pine cone

If you collected your pine cones from outside, clean them up before using.  Brush out any dirt or webs and let them soak in a mixture of water and vinegar. The cones will open up in the water. Allow them to dry completely before using.

You can also buy pine cones ready for crafting at many craft stores and online.

Choose the prints you'd like to use from your Moda Candy pack. You need 7 to 13 per pine cone. Simply fold each Moda Candy square  in half and finger press. Tuck into the pine cone along the lower half of one side to create a feather tail.

When you're done eating that real turkey, just remove the fabric pieces from your centerpiece and put them back in your sewing room for another project!
